We are honored and thrilled that Spencer is the Title Sponsor for the 2008 Lone Star Circle of Life bike tour throughout the state of Texas this week. (Sept 15-20) The 12 riders bike 60+ miles per day as this event promotes organ, blood, and tissue donation. The riders biked into the D/FW area yesterday, Tuesday, Sept 16th. We were able to meet all the riders who wear white and bright blue jerseys (color of Spencer's eyes!) and the top of each of the jerseys say "in honor and memory of Spencer Squire"! We met this year's Team Captain, Rich Oropeza, who rode into Dallas for Spencer yesterday. It was great to meet all of the riders and hear their interesting and heartfelt comments on the reasons they ride in this event as well as the touching stories of the local honorees. What a beautiful day it was as Spencer's circle of life is being continued and we are grateful to all these 12 Circle of Life Riders!
