Dear Patrick,Anna and Ryan:
Although we have never met,i felt a great loss with Spencers passing due to the fact that his Uncle Chris and Aunt Cindy talk about him and the rest of you so often.
My thoughts and prayers are with your family on a daily basis. I have never had children but i have felt the loss of my grandparents, parents and my husband. Know that you get a little stronger with each passing day and that Spencer is always with you in your hearts I hope you are all well and find a way to smile throughtout each
day as it will get better, slowly. It lifts my heart to see the outpouring of love at a time like this,in reading through these messages,to know that this website has travelled around the world. Seeing messages from India,Turkey, and England, makes me glad to know this world is not such a big scary place after all. Take care.

Pat, Anna and Ryan,
Our family was so glad to see you tonight although we wish it would have been under different circumstances.
On our drive home, my children were talking to Rob and me about Spencer and your wonderful family. They were touched by many things that you showed us~from the medal with Spencer's picture that said he was "First String on God's Team" to the video that captured so many times of Spencer's life.
During our talk, Brandon said, "Wow! Spencer had done so much in his little life. There was not a sport that he didn't try or do. How did he get all those sports, camps and trips in?"
Then Carolyn replied, "He had such an awesome life and did more then many children get to do." Then we all talked about what amazing parents you are and how you did so much for him and with him.
Spencer did live a very active and happy life and we can all celebrate that! He is on God's Team...the #1 team around.
Please know that your family is in our constant thoughts and prayers.

I just wanted to share my own note of consolation. Fate would have a fellow Red Sox fan meeting Pat today in McKinney. Maybe Spencer was rooting the Sox on and so he willed a couple of long time fans to share some stories together. Anyway, it was a pleasure to have heard and read about Spencer's life.

Patrick, Anna, and Ryan,
It is truly a blessing to have met you all, though I regret our meeting had to be under such circumstances. It is unfortunate that I personally never had the chance to meet Spencer prior to his arrival at the hospital, but I somehow feel I got to know him well through being with you and all of your family and friends.
So many things touched me in so many different ways over the course of my summer as chaplain at the hospital. Some of these things I will probably forget, and others I hope to forget, but I will always remember the time I was able to spend with Spencer and all of you and the tremendous blessing it was for me. Please be assured of my continued prayers for your family. May God bless you and keep you.
Peace and love,

May God bless your family. Spencer is now blessed in the presence of God where there is eternal happiness. My family will miss Spencer and all the wonderful times we shared with him from playing hoops with Brandon, visits at our home and the occasional "getting the Gatoraide out of our mini-frige in the garage" moments. He is one of a kind and now he is one with God. Love, the Wynne family

Dear Spencer's family,
I just heard what happened with the loss in your family and the news made me cry :'~(
Spencer and I always had so much fun playing sports in either my backyard or his. He loved all sports...basketball, baseball and soccer. He would always try to beat me and never gave up. He was great at shooting basketball and we had countless games together with our dads. Another thing I remember is his BIG smile. Spencer never frowned unless it was time to go inside and stop playing. I'm sure he is playing sports up in heaven :-)

So much so fast in such a short time frame that little Spencer left our world. Woke up early this morning and was thinking of him and of your family. My respect to the Aggie family as I have come to know. WOW what blessings I have learned from this Aggie world. The college family has been there with you all like I have never seen before. As your designer and friend I have decorated many clients homes with the Aggie stuff galore. At no time did I understand the love for the Aggie and what it meant to each home owner I came to know. I would put all the aggie memorbilla items in all the right places not giving a thought to the love each client had for Texas A&M. Looking back at all of the family and friends who have taken you all in prayers that is something to be said in itself. Spencer touched so many people and what I have learned from all of this is we are all hear on loan from God. We are to slow down life and enjoy each other. Pat and Anna you are so special and to see all of the friends and family be there for you during this time has been awesome for me to be a part of. The next time I am in a clients home and I put out all of the Texas A&M memorbilla it will have new meaning for me and put out with thinking of Spencers life and the Aggie family I have come to know. May God bless you all and be stronger from this. Hug little Ryan and I am sure he is missing his brother and going to for the rest of his life. Your friend,
Lynda Bliss

Dear Squire Family,
Please accept our deepest sympathies for the loss of your son Spencer. We recently moved from CA to Allen, TX with our two children - Andrew (5) and Megan (3). We haven't had the privilege yet to meet your beautiful family but still hope someday to get the opportunity. After looking thru Spencer's Aggie photos, it reminds me of the first time my son Andrew and I had our first father/son outing at a Texas A&M basketball game earlier this year. Your son's photos have reminded me to cherish each and every day with our children. We will always keep Spencer and your family in our prayers especially during Aggie Muster. God bless.

We all feel like it's just the beginning-and yet sometimes God has a different plan. As heartbreaking as it is to hear of your loss, I want to thank you for sharing pictures of your beautiful child and family. It is a reminder to all of us to be thankful for all that we have today.
I will pray your family to have a sense of peace with God's will & rejoice at the lives that will continue through Spencer's gifts of of organ donation.

I did not have the pleasure of knowing your little Spencer, but we are neighbors as I have 3 children (one who attends Boon) and I just wanted to tell you that after I sent my son back to school this morning I kneeled down to pray for continued strength for your family. I know today had to be hard for you all, but after reading about your family we all know exactly where Spencer is today and that he will never again feel sadness or be afraid. What a beautiful lesson you have taught me about treasuring every photo, every word, every moment of our childrens life. Your family will always be in my prayers. I'm sure parents everywhere will be talking about Spencer tonight with their children and saying a prayer about your beautiful family. God Bless.

Hi,
I am writing this on behalf of my step-daughter, Brittany. She was so sorry to hear about Spencer. She did not know Spencer very well, but she did hear stories from myself, her step-mom, and her dad about Spencer's latest escapades and adventures. She also was so appreciative and thankful for the Xmas presents that she got from Spencer......
Once again, she, as well as her immediate family, sent their condolences to myself and Tom via phone messages and a card. I just wanted to relay - via this website - that she is so sorry and is very upset to hear this devastating and sad news.
Her thoughts and prayers are with the Squire family at this time.

Dear Anna and Patrick:
The Squires in Kentucky continue to pray for the Squire and Kirksey families in Texas.....
We wanted to share with you that on Sunday we attended Mass for Spencer at the Cathedral of the Assumption. The special prayer intentions for this Mass were for Spencer. After the gifts of Bread and Wine were brought to the altar, Father Bill (he had also presided at Alexandra's First Communion) prayed for those who have gone before us, especially for Spencer Squire. To hear the name of our dear little boy reach the rafters of the Cathedral brought us such peace and comfort. We wish that same peace and comfort be yours with each passing day.
We have chosen a star for Spencer among the hundreds of stars in the ceiling of the Cathedral. Each time we are there, we will look up at that star and think about our angel who has gone before us. Surely Spencer will lead the way.
With much love until we see each other again,
Jon, Linda, Johnny, Victoria and Alexandra
